Planned Scope of Work

New Interior and exterior security cameras
New secured vestibule
Overhaul historic original buildings
Overhaul or replace all classrooms and science labs
Overhaul or replace main office and main entrance to include secured vestibule
Overhaul or replace student dining and kitchen
Replace old exterior windows with new energy efficient windows
Update mechanical systems to the latest energy efficiency and indoor air quality standards
Add new outdoor learning opportunities or replace existing ones
Re-pave and re-surface parking lots and driveways
Add, replace and/or repair existing playground equipment

Project Information

The district hosted a community meeting at the Advanced Learning Academy-Euclid campus on Nov. 20, 2024, to share information related to the school's facility condition assessment, bond allocation, and the possibility of a new ALA school building/location. The purpose of the meeting was to collect feedback from ALA families to be considered in developing a recommendation to the superintendent and Board of Trustees. Options are being evaluated to develop a proposal that will be shared with the community for input.
