Planned Scope of Work

Historical overhaul or replacement of all classrooms and science labs
Overhaul or replacement of special education classrooms
Renovation of gym and physical education support spaces
Overhaul or replacement of student dining and kitchen
Overhaul or replacement of main office and main entrance to include secured vestibule
Replace old exterior windows with new energy efficient windows in spaces receiving renovations
Complete overhaul and update to mechanical systems to the latest energy efficiency and Indoor Air Quality standards
New or replacement outdoor learning opportunities
Re-paving and re-surfacing parking lots and driveways
Add, replace and/or repair existing playground equipment

Update

Design documents from the architect have been submitted to SAISD for review. Discussions continue with the SAISD Project Manager, design team and CMAR on value engineering options for the project. This process evaluates the cost, quality and life cycle/maintenance for all designed building features, systems, equipment, and selected materials used for construction.
