Planned Scope of Work* 

• New gym addition and renovation of existing gym to include restrooms, offices, and storage
• Renovate interior of the fine arts building to include updated classrooms and mariachi space
• The auditorium will receive upgrades to its stage, lighting, and curtains

Project Update

Tafolla Middle School’s secondary gym has been demolished to make way for a new competition gym. Foundation work on the new gym will begin this summer. The existing main gym will be renovated to be used as a secondary gym. 

Work on auditorium upgrades, including improvements to the stage, lighting, and curtains, is expected to begin in December 2024. 

Work on upgrades to the fine arts building is expected to begin in August 2025. That renovation will include updated classrooms and mariachi space.
