How have SAISD schools shaped you into the person you are today?
"Attending SAISD schools has greatly influenced my personal and academic development. I am grateful for being able to chose a school that has met my needs and has built me into the person I am today. When I look back at attending Forbes Elementary, they have prepared me for bigger and brighter things while going into middle school. Being able to attend ALA was amazing, they helped prepare me to build leadership skills, help develop critical thinking, and being able to find a passion for learning."

 

Who has been most influential to you in your education this far and why?
"The most influential person in my education so far has been my assistant principal, Dr. Mari Alarcon. Even though she hasn’t been in my life very long, her support, guidance, and encouragement has been such a huge impact on my high school journey. Dr. Mari has always been there for me providing her amazing words of wisdom and being such a big source of inspiration. Dr. Mari’s belief in what I can do and commitment to my success has motivated me to strive for excellence but also reach my goals with determination. I will forever be grateful for having her in my life, for she has impacted me the most. "
