How have SAISD schools shaped you into the person you are today?

"Ver el ambiente en las escuelas de SAISD donde mis hijos también estudiaron, me ha animado a colaborar con ellos en la formación de los niños, sobre todo ahora que vivimos tiempos de grandes retos como formar a los adultos del futuro."

(Observing the environment in the schools of SAISD, where my children also studied, has encouraged me to collaborate with them in the education of children, especially now that we are living in times of great challenges such as educating the adults of the future.)

What is your hope for the Class of 2024 as they move on to the next chapter of their lives?

"Se que todos tenemos un gran potencial para dar, y es un orgullo para mi ver a mis compañeros de clase esforzarse por alcanzar sus metas a pesar de los obstáculos que cada uno de nosotros enfrentamos. Se que a su debido tiempo alcanzaremos nuestras objetivos." 

(I know that we all have great potential to give, and it gives me great pride to see my classmates strive to achieve their goals despite the obstacles that each of us face. I know that in due time we will reach our goals.)

What are your plans after graduation?

"In my next goal, I expect to be sitting in a classroom of college students learning on a new path. I want to complete both of my accounting and psychology degrees. I chose these two fields because I want to reach higher in my accomplishments towards a successful career. I can become a guidance counselor and a financial advisor. With all of the health needs for finance abetment and mental support, I can contribute to our community by becoming a finance advisor and a guidance counselor for those in need."

What is your hope for the Class of 2024 as they move on to the next chapter of their lives?

"Class of 2024, there's no doubt that there will be more trials and tribulations. Now that we are here and next to one another let's always remember that nothing could hold us down or stop us from success, prosperity, and achievements. Remember this feeling because with it comes more trials, but at this moment in time we have proven strength, development, dedication, and opportunity. We have more power within ourselves and more power to accomplish anything that we will attempt. You are great and will be more than just a graduate after today. You will be indomitable, and unconquerable beyond all measure."
