How have SAISD schools shaped you into the person you are today?

The community and being able to be surrounded by people like me and who are like minded. That ability to communicate with them and have the same purpose.

As a leader of the class of 2024, what is your hope for the Class of 2024 as they move on to the next chapter of their lives?

My hope is that everyone is able to pursue their dreams and that they're able to accomplish what they want. I don't want to see them fail, and I know they'll learn from their mistakes, but I just really hope to see that they're able to do what they want.

How have SAISD schools shaped you into the person you are today?

Coming from a private catholic school , SAISD schools exposed me to diverse cultures, perspectives, and experiences. This allowed me to shape my understanding of the world around me. It is a privilege to graduate from a SAISD school.

What is the greatest challenge you have overcome so far in your education and how did you overcome it? 

The greatest challenge throughout my educational jounrsy so far has been having the courage to ask for help. Coming to a new school I felt that asking for help would be a sign of weakness. However, I’ve realized that asking for help turned into a gateway to build connections and leads better outcomes.
