High school students in San Antonio ISD have an opportunity to apply for summer internships through the San Antonio Economic Development Foundation. The 2021 SA Works Summer Internships will take place both virtually and in-person from June 14 through Aug. 6. High school students and graduating seniors (ages 16-20 years old by June 1, 2021) are eligible to apply. The average wages are $9.50 per hour.
Interested students may register through the foundation’s Greenlight portal. Students will need to first complete an online form to request a referral code from the SAISD Career and Technical Education office to register. Students also will need a resume. Sample resumes can be viewed here and here.

Los estudiantes de preparatoria en San Antonio ISD tienen la oportunidad de solicitar para las pasantías de verano por medio de la fundación San Antonio Economic Development Foundation. Las pasantías de verano de SA Works para 2021 se llevarán a cabo tanto de forma virtual como en persona del 14 de junio al 6 de ago. Los estudiantes de preparatoria y los recién graduados (edades de 16 a 20 años para el primero de junio de 2021) pueden solicitar. El salario promedio es de $9.50 por hora.
Los estudiantes interesados pueden inscribirse por medio del portal Greenlight de la fundación. Los estudiantes deberán completar un formulario en línea primero para solicitar un código de referencia de la oficina de Educación Técnica y Profesional de SAISD a fin de inscribirse.
