Dear SAISD Familia:

Every single child and every single family are welcomed in our SAISD Familia. You belong here and we embrace you unconditionally.

Throughout the history of our district, we have championed our children. Two years ago, our relentless efforts created a Declaration Statement that poured our hearts and vision into words. We are proud to say that at our Oct. 21 board meeting, we elevated this Declaration to our highest calling and strengthened our Core of Beliefs and Theory of Action to publicly declare our support for our children and our families.

Please know that we fervently declare: 

The San Antonio ISD aspires to be an inclusive familia that will be the destination for transformational learning that makes the impossible a reality by demonstrating an urgent and relentless commitment to love, nurture, and teach all our students as if they are our own so that they realize their power to shape the world.

We urge you to also read our Core Beliefs and Theory of Action, which outlines how we will care for you within a culture of trust and excellence. We will always stand for our values in support of you.
