For the safety of community members and in compliance with a City of San Antonio ordinance to close parks, SAISD is temporarily closing access to the District’s fields and playgrounds at this time.

According to news reports, the city is entering a critical period in the COVID-19 crisis. Models indicate San Antonio is nearing peak in the number of infections, and therefore, citizens must be extra cautious in practicing social distancing.

To help flatten the curve, the District joins the city in closing its outdoor spaces to encourage everyone to stay safe.
