The Innovative Approaches to Literacy Grant from the Department of Education is available to -

• Help our students create home libraries through book giveaways  
• Provide literacy training for parents with PreKinder and Kinder students
• Find new and creative ways to reach our dual language students through software designed especially for second language learners
• Bring the school library collections up to date with new titles and formats
• Extend hours at the high school libraries to offer a place for collaboration, MakerSpaces, studying and connecting with fellow book enthusiasts  
• Focus on information literacy in a world of information overload

In the 2023-2024 academic year, over 110,000 FREE new books were provided to students to help build their home libraries at over 50 book giveaway events.  Join us for our current distribution of books at the Athletic games.  Visit your school library for more information.
