Nov. 24 (Sun) – SAISD mariachis perform at the Santa Cecilia Mariachi Festival

The 2nd Annual Santa Cecilia Mariachi Festival will feature EIGHT SAISD mariachi groups on the west side of San Antonio. Headlined by the Campanas de America and Mateo Lopez with Mariachi Azteca de America, the event celebrates Santa Cecilia, the patron saint of musicians, with a full day of FREE live mariachi performances all day at the Plaza Guadalupe.  The SAISD mariachi groups performing are from the following schools: Edison High School, Lanier High School, Burbank High School, Jefferson High School, Brackenridge High School, Longfellow Middle School, Harris Middle School and Rhodes Middle School.

Nov. 25-29 (Mon to Fri) – SAISD closed for Thanksgiving break
All SAISD campuses and offices will be closed between Monday, November 25 through Friday, November 29 for the Thanksgiving break. Normal school and office hours resume on Monday, December 2.
