WHAT:        Soldiers and officers from U.S. Army North at Fort Sam Houston will make many wishes come true when they bestow holiday gifts to the 318 students at Pershing Elementary in the San Antonio ISD. They will personally deliver and distribute the wrapped gifts to students during this cherished holiday giveaway tradition.

MORE:        The Pershing Elementary students submitted a gift wish list to the SAISD military partners last November. U.S. Army North at Fort Sam Houston will provide the gifts listed from each students’ list. This holiday event at Pershing Elementary is a long-time tradition that started in 2011.
