San Antonio ISD invites residents to participate in two virtual community meetings taking place on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2025 at noon and 5 p.m. to receive an update on the Facilities Repurposing Survey results. 

More than 9,300 people completed the survey during that last three months, and shared how the district’s closed schools might be reimagined. 

During these meetings, SAISD will share the valuable feedback collected from the survey.

SAISD is committed to repurposing facilities affected by rightsizing so that the buildings continue to benefit and serve the community. Throughout the repurposing process, the district is engaging stakeholders to envision the new possibilities within their community. The district reached out to community members both online and in person at outreach events, including district athletic events, with this survey to gather their priorities for available buildings. District trustees also hosted a series of meetings in August and September at comprehensive high schools to explain the repurposing process and its timeline.
