NEWS RELEASE

San Antonio ISD is inviting staff, families, and the broader community to attend one of four upcoming virtual community meetings to provide an update on the district’s Bond 2020 program and key operational developments.

The sessions will highlight progress on major capital improvements funded by the $1.3 billion bond approved by voters in November 2020. Attendees will hear updates on school renovations, safety and security enhancements, and upgrades to HVAC systems and technology infrastructure. In addition, participants will hear updates on facilities maintenance and learn how to get involved in SAISD’s advisory councils.

Virtual Meeting Schedule:

Tuesday, April 29 | 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Thursday, May 1 | 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Registration is required to attend. Community members can sign up here: http://bit.ly/saisdbond

“Transparency and community engagement are at the heart of our work,” said Jaime Aquino, SAISD Superintendent. “These meetings are an opportunity to hear directly from district leaders and learn how these investments are shaping the future of our schools.”

Bond 2020 was one of the largest in the district’s history, aimed at modernizing facilities and providing students with safe, innovative learning environments. For detailed project updates and timelines, visit: https://www.saisd.net/page/2020bond-home.
